I find it particularly satisfying to use on the BNP website.

I was just thinking about the various celebrity blogs out there. I follow three writers' blogs: Neil Gaiman, Poppy Z Brite and Caitlin R Kiernan. I was thinking for a while, wouldn't it be good if other types of celebrities kept blogs.

Then I thought, whilst I'd pay good money for a spycam into Hugh Jackman's shower stall, a blog probably wouldn't be that entertaining. ("Got up. Tweezed chest hair. Practised smouldering looks in mirror. Sweated manfully. Another great day!")

Was about to catch up my own blog, but my download just finished and I owe someone some beta testing. Will have to wait until tomorrow...

I discovered this weekend that Northerners don't know the word "pikey", and don't have a word which means this.

This link was of immense help in educating Patrick in the nefarious ways of the common pikey. 115 definitions! Who'd have thought it?

And I am happy to report that Patrick's ribs were feeling slightly less painful on Saturday and so he was able to Do His Duty, which means that at least I haven't killed anyone today. Sadly, however, it will probably take another week before he's fit for it again :-(
